Account and data deletion
Delete your My Assessment Tool account
You can permanently delete your account and associated educational records from the My Assessment Tool app or website.
Delete your account in the app
- Sign in to your My Assessment Tool account.
- Open Profile.
- Scroll to Delete Account and select Delete Account.
- Read the permanent-deletion notice and confirm the deletion.
The account and applicable primary-database records are deleted immediately after confirmation. This action cannot be undone.
If you cannot sign in
Email support@myassessmenttool.net from the email address on the account, with the subject “Account deletion request.” Include the account email address, but do not send student records or other sensitive information by email. We may ask for information needed to verify that you own or are authorized to act for the account before processing the request.
Data deleted
Deleting an account permanently removes the account profile and its associated records from My Assessment Tool’s primary database, including:
- Educator account profile, sign-in sessions, authentication and verification records, roles, access grants, and authorization acknowledgements.
- Student profiles, classrooms, tags, assessment templates, assessment sessions, responses, scores, progress history, and educator-entered notes.
- Subscription status records and connected support-account records associated with the account.
Data retained after deletion
- Encrypted backup copies may persist for up to 30 days and are not restored except for disaster recovery.
- A limited privacy audit record of the deletion may be retained for up to one year for security, compliance, and operational purposes.
- Apple, Google Play, Stripe, RevenueCat, and other payment providers may retain purchase or transaction information under their own legal, financial, and platform obligations. My Assessment Tool does not retain payment card information.
Subscriptions
Deleting your My Assessment Tool account does not cancel an Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe subscription. Cancel the subscription separately through the store or payment provider to prevent future charges.
